Quad or Buggy in Merzouga?
Quad bikes and buggies are the two ways we offer to explore the dunes around Merzouga. Both take you into the same Erg Chebbi desert landscape, but the experience behind the wheel — and the price — is different. This page compares them directly so you can decide which one fits your trip.
Which One Should I Choose?
If you want the feeling of riding your own vehicle, with direct control and a light, agile feel across the sand, a quad is generally the better fit. It is also the lower-cost option at €35 per hour. If you prefer a more enclosed, powerful vehicle and a bigger off-road sensation, a buggy at €120 per hour is worth considering. Neither option is objectively "better" — it depends on the kind of experience you are looking for. If you are still unsure, contact our team on WhatsApp and describe what you are hoping to get out of the ride; we are happy to help you decide.
